When you need to manage the Facebook account of your blog, your own business, or even for a client, the issue of periodic posts arises, which are so necessary. As I mentioned on another occasion posts must attract and invite interaction, but often it is difficult to identify the best topics, the most attractive posts, and, in addition, this whole process often becomes a major time consumer, which we do not always have.
These 8 ideas can represent a very good starting point to find and publish the desired posts, with optimal effect and minimal time consumption. Most are also valid for other social networks, not just for Facebook:
1. Images. Stronger than any text, images, whether photographs or edited graphic images, attract attention and are much easier to view and grasp at a glance. A study conducted by the site kissmetrics.com shows that pictures attract 53% more likes, 104% more comments, and 84% more clicks than posts containing only text. Whether they are photos taken by you, processed images, or various combinations, they attract attention and are also easy to find (depending, of course, on the specifics of the respective page).
2. Short and to the point. When we have to put only text, but also when adding a description of an image or a link, it should be short, preferably up to 80 characters. These short posts can represent an invitation to watch an event, an announcement, a statement like "Did you know..." or similar. People neither have the time nor the disposition to read a long post. So we must be concise and choose our words carefully.

3. Ask a question. People tend to respond to questions on social networks, especially if they are within their area of interest. They are curious about what others have answered in the comments and will respond in turn or add completions.
4. Create a poll. Facebook allows the insertion of polls, which are mostly represented by a question with multiple answer options. With the help of these polls, you attract both attention and interest, but at the same time you also obtain information that can be really useful if you know how to manage it.
5. Discuss current events. We are not talking about politics or weather, unless they are within the page's area of interest. In every field, events, conferences, meetings are organized, launches take place, laws are passed, directions change, etc. We must know how to take advantage of all these and include them in our Facebook posts. We can combine them with questions or polls, thus achieving greater engagement. For example, a page dedicated to movies can make the Oscars Gala a real goldmine, just as a page from the automotive world can talk about the launch of a new car model or about the mandatory insurance law. It all depends on inspiration and a little information.
6. Inspire with a quote. This type of post is quite common, being very useful and easy to create. To differentiate yourself from the large mass of such posts, you can customize the background of the image over which you overlay it and always keep it the same, or you can especially choose motivational quotes from personalities in the field.
7. Content. If you have various resources of interest for your audience, whether it is a material created by you, a link to another site, or even a document you have obtained legally and have the right to distribute further, then these can represent excellent sources to create engagement and to build a positive image.
8. Evoke emotion. We are already used to Facebook images with cute kittens, jokes, images that make you laugh or, on the contrary, that provoke an unpleasant feeling. All these have in common that they induce an emotion, whether positive or negative. And we all tend to react. Use images and texts that evoke emotion, but as relevant as possible to the respective page.
After experimenting with all these ideas for a longer period, you need to analyze and observe what exactly worked in your case and what did not. Maybe you need to change the time you publish them, maybe the content needs better adjustment, maybe you change the days or give up some of them. Nothing is universally valid, nothing guarantees success. You have to try, monitor, adjust, monitor and adjust again. And so on!
Good luck!
