7 things to write about on the company blog

As I have already said, the company blog is an extremely valuable tool, both for readers and potential clients, as well as for the company. Through it, the image of specialists in the field and professionals is promoted.

The content of the articles published on the blog is sometimes deficient because it is not yet well known what exactly should be written, the way of elaboration, and especially the chosen topics.

I have selected a few subjects that can and should be addressed in the articles published on a company's blog.

Solution to a problem

All clients, regardless of the nature of the business, sometimes face problems or issues related to the product or service you offer. Use the company blog precisely to answer these problems or questions. Start from the most frequent questions asked by clients, thus having the assurance that what is written is of interest and will be read.

Educational, informational content

Provide rich informational content. This rule is generally valid. People who visit the blog are already familiar with the subject and most often want to learn more details, to go in depth. Avoid making these articles promotional material; instead, offer value to the reader.

Industry trends

Whether it is a service or a product, the field or industry in which you operate is constantly changing. Use insider information and publish articles in which you talk about your area of interest, about the respective industry, about the latest statistical data or new investments. The more exact data and practical information, the better.

Short success stories

People are eager to know real success stories because they inspire and give them confidence. You can take advantage of this desire and occasionally present short stories about an important client and their success starting from the use of your service or product. However, you must be careful not to turn the story into free advertising for yourself, as that is not the purpose and will not do you any good.

Infographics and diagrams

Articles and visual presentations attract and arouse much more interest than those that do not have this attribute. People want to quickly find out what it is about, to see and not necessarily to read. Moreover, it is much more likely that a reader will share an image than a simple text. Transforming numbers into infographics makes them much easier to read, compare, and understand. That is why there are companies that have already started hiring graphic designers to create such diagrams and complex charts.

Explained content

People may visit the blog to find information about how to do a certain thing, about what a procedure or process involves. Therefore, the blog must include information that helps them manage on their own when using the products purchased from you. Those "How to" presentations and videos are extremely welcome and give people the confidence that they can handle things on their own and perform a more complicated operation safely. The state of independence they gain this way is priceless for them, and for you, it may mean a new sale or a new client.

About us – page?

The About Us page has started to be used less and less, and this information is briefly presented somewhere at the bottom of the page. You can use this and add information about the article's author right in the article, in the form of a photo and a short description. Taking responsibility for an article is a sign that the writer is fully confident that the information is accurate and appropriate, and also that they know what they are talking about. Additionally, adding an image of a person, a real person, sends a message to the reader-client, who now much easier identifies the service with a face. People still feel the need to communicate with another human being and not with a cold screen. That is why the photo humanizes the site, the content, and the client will know who will serve them when they use that service.
