We once again focus our attention on the professional network LinkedIn. LinkedIn For Business The interest given to it is due, first of all, to the importance and role it has in the development of a business or a successful career.
If in previous articles we paid more attention to the use of the network by individuals, now we turn to businesses at the beginning of their journey or, at least, at the beginning of their presence on LinkedIn.
The question that often arises when it comes to online or a particular site is: How can we take advantage of the interest people give it? And the interest users give to the LinkedIn network is very high.
LinkedIn is, as we have said before, a professional network, in other words, those who use it are professionals in their field or want a successful professional career. And this is mainly due to the constant interest and concern to be informed and up to date with news in the targeted field. LinkedIn has become a permanent source of information for them.
A series of data recently made public states that the LinkedIn network sends up to 4 times more visitors to the original site than Facebook or Twitter, and the growth is much higher than in the case of other networks.
1. Optimize the company profile with as consistent messages as possible, with information and elements that attract people and lead them to the original site.
2. Avoid, when publishing articles, those times of the day when users are fewer. The best times of the day are the morning hours, starting from 8:00 AM until around 5:00 PM. Afternoons, evenings, and weekends should be avoided when people are less active on this network.
3. Post at least 20 times a month. It is very difficult to establish how often you should post on a social or professional network. In the case of LinkedIn, it seems that a minimum number of 20 posts per month results in reaching approximately 60% of the audience. The difference is represented by the particular elements of the users and cannot be significantly influenced. There is also the possibility to post much more, but this depends on several factors, including: the nature of the business, the information that can be shared, the ability to create so much quality and interesting content for the public.
4. Learn and optimize the engagement rate. LinkedIn offers the possibility to check statistics related to the company profile. This can be accessed by clicking the Edit button located at the top right of the page. Logged-in administrators can thus access the profile analytics and check the number of visitors, details about them, their location, and interests. Data regarding the reason for each individual's visit can also be accessed. Knowing all this information can help the page administrator better synchronize posts with the time interval when more people seem to enter or with their time zone.
5. The most targeted information is related to the respective industry. Studies within LinkedIn show that 6 out of 10 users read information about the industry they operate in. In second place are company news, and in third place in the interest ranking are news about new products and services.
