5 tips for creating attractive content for your website

As a result of the restrictions imposed by Google over time, the content of a site, its quality, and the degree of its updating have become very important. More and more companies have understood this and are increasingly looking to stand out in this segment by creating blogs, frequently posting quality information, both in terms of value and interest and relevance for readers/customers/users or visitors.

Below we present 5 tips for creating content or posts on a blog or site that attract visitors and keep their interest:

1. Give direction. To achieve the desired result by creating quality content on your site or blog, it is very important to follow a single direction, and this must be set by one person. Thus, for a campaign, it is advisable to appoint a single responsible person with a unified vision and thinking.

2. Get informed. It is good that before writing about a certain topic, you do your homework, find out what and how has been written on that topic on other sites or blogs, and what reactions there have been from other specialists or readers. It is not always possible to bring something entirely new to the field, so it is very important how you say it, in relation to others.

3. Don’t overdo it. Even if your blog visitors are numerous and come frequently to your site, that does not mean you have to publish new content every day. It is actually advisable not to do so. Some of the new posts will not be shared or, even worse – viewed, by more than a small number of users who visit that page daily.

4. Tell a story. It is very important that when you want to create content for your site or blog, you think about those who will read your lines. Involve them emotionally, make them part of your story by appealing to a certain experience or a warm feeling. Establishing a dialogue with each client individually is essential in the current web context, where quality content is increasingly present.

5. Think on a larger scale. When you want to write a new post on the blog or site, you must consider the possibility of using that content in other media, other posts, or as a continuation of something older, an update of information provided in the past to which you promised to return with up-to-date data. The use of texts and content from the blog should be possible with quite some ease in other contexts, whether online or offline.

These are just 5 tips to attract and retain visitors. Although some may seem familiar, from experience I have observed that simple things are never as simple as they seem.
